Press Release Body: With the Heroes of Hyderabad winning the toss and opting to field first, this team seemed to have some strategy in mind. But all hopes were down on the ground when the Heroes started to perform. However what is worth talking about is the ecstatic win that they still acquired over the strong team of Kolkata Tigers.
The Kolkata Tigers came on strike with SG Das and Lance Klusner as openers. The initial few shots were good but Das soon had to go back as he was caught off a delivery by Kemp. Klusner however stayed tehr and went on to score some runs with Jhunjhunwala to support him and rotate strike. MacMillan came in after Jhunjhunwala departed on 24 runs. 13 runs were what the Captain scored and then Adams was on the field who made 27 runs. Rohan Gavaskar then made eight runs and the innings 20 overs were over.
fter the innings break, the Heroes came in on the field with openers Anirudh Singh and Jimmy Maher. Strike was rotated well and good shots were hit when Singh was caught by Jhunjhunwala off a ball by Tarafdar. The next man in, Boje and also Rayadu came and went back almost instantly without scoring at all. It was Kemp then who supported the well settled player, Maher on the field. Kemp made 28 runs off 18 balls. But again Tarafdar struck and got his wicket. Razzaq then made 4 runs and Harris did not score at all. Binny then came in as a savior and scored 44 wonderful, quick runs off just 19 runs. Maher made 65 runs off 59 balls and it was a total thrill watching this match which the team won even when three players failed to score even a single run.
